Julio C. Milessi was headmaster of Milessi & Asociados, who has worked exclusively as customhouse brokers and international freight forwarders in international commerce services for more than 30 years. During this period he obtained specific knowledge in these activities with due actualization according to needs during regulations changes and shipping improvements.

Formation

Working inside first line international enterprises for over 15 years, adding his customhouse broker's experience since 1977, and as International Freight Forwarders since 1981, Julio has obtained an important knowledge on all types of shipments, by air, sea, railway, truck, barges, etc.

This knowledge was also put to work with important Italian freight forwarders and before as agents of other Freight Forwarders of Germany, England, USA, Spain, Brazil, and since 1990, México, allowing Julio Milessi to take care and handle your shipments through all the steps, from your first contact until its arrival at destination.

Trajectory

Julio has handled more than 40000 shipments by sea, air, truck, railway and a wide variety of combinations. Through direct shipments and also transshipments and transits your goods will get to their final destination as planned.

Julio has worked with export shipments of Argentine agricultural tractors (Massey Ferguson), in full main vessel cargoes to different points of Africa, and with more than 1000 tractor units a year to Chile by railway, truck, vessel. Also shipping to Peru, Uruguay, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, etc., or with 12000 tons of Techint (Siderca) oil steel tubes for YPF Bolivianos in two years, 300 railway wagons with dissembled steam boilers to Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia, and many shipments to Cuba.

As representative agents of U.S. Freight Forwarders, Julio handled and delivered in free house condition more than 40 TEU (all type of containers) with the A.B.B. boiling upgrading supplies for the privatized central "Landed buyer warehouses"; they were the first important shipments for the new owners of the ex national power company SEGBA. Julio Milessi organized the complete operation: vessels’ discharge, custom clearance, container transport, unloading and stowing packed goods on the warehouse’s floor, etc.

For four years now, Julio Cesar Milessi Hansen, has been an active member of the Informática Commission of the Center Customhouse Brokers of the Argentine Republic (Centro Despachantes de Aduana de la Republica Argentina) and participates in different Conferences and Meetings. He also cooperates with the SEPYME and several other Commercial Chambers, dictating courses about commerce and Customhouse matters.

SINCE JANUARY 2004, JULIO MILESSI HAS BEEN CONTACTED BY ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FREIGHT FORWARDERS, MCLEAN CARGO SPECIALISTS INC., FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS, U.S.A., TO RUN THEIR ARGENTINE BRANCH IMPORT AND EXPORT FREIGHTS AS OPERATION COORDINATOR.
